Trinitario & Forastero varieties, centrally fermented for 7 days, and dried on African beds. Smooth and balanced. Cascade of flavours: sweet vanilla, cashew, fruity cherry and floral notes.
The cocoa is grown in Mungamba, in Ituri, by smallholders managed by the Okapi cooperative, near the national reserve of the same name. In a region suffering from a high rate of deforestation, these special projects combine the production of great tasting cocoa with the conservation of forest areas.
